If you're ready for a fun-filled family getaway, look no further than SeaWorld in Orlando, Florida. Sea World is an adventure theme park with plenty to do for the whole family, all the way from children to grandparents. With thrilling wet and dry rides to spectacular shows, there's no shortage of fun here. SeaWorld Orlando is owned and operated by the Busch Entertainment Corporation. It is not divided into specific sections like most themes parks. In one day, you can see everything from stingrays, dolphins, sea turtles, manatees, and alligators to penguins, porpoises, seals, and killer whales, all in one place! Begin your day by a visit to Dolphin Cove to feed the dolphins. Next, stop by an for up-close-and-personal sea life exhibit. You can choose from indoor exhibits such as Shark or Penguin Encounter. Turtle Point and the Manatee Rescue both hold rescued animals. The Stingray Lagoon is a covered exhibit that actually allows you to touch the stingrays. See a variety of creatures at the Jewel of the Sea Aquarium. Watch new-born Bottlenose Dolphins in the Dolphin Nursery. Pacific Point Preserve houses the park's seals and sea lions. Had enough sea life for a bit? Visit the Clydesdale Hamlet and have a look at the famous Budweiser horses or visit the arcade and games area. Around lunch time, head over to any one of the many restaurants and take a break in the cool, shaded retreat. Then make your way to the exciting rides. You can choose anything from wet roller coasters to thrilling 3-D action movies with motion-simulation. For a fabulous view of the entire part, take a ride up in the Skytower. At various times during the day you can catch live shows featuring trained animals. The most well-known spot for an entertaining show is Shamu Stadium. This seven million gallon stadium holds the famous Sea World mascot, a killer whale named Shamu. The Sea Lion and Otter Stadium features Clyde and Seamore, two hilarious sea lions from California. The Whale and Dolphin Theatre uses not only animals but human acrobats and divers as well. In the Nautilus Theatre, you can also watch a stunning acrobatic show. Seaport Theatre features rescued animals such as dogs and cats in an amusing show. Nightly firework presentations are put on during peak season.
